Question about 1998 Suzuki GSX-R 750 W
Have had any problem till now. I was riding early in the morning and motorcycle just turn off like if you push the off switch. Let sit for a minute then try again it would turn on by would turn right off. It keeps doing that. Try this morning and turn on with no problem and stay on for about 20 mins. I turn it off and now it will not even turn over, like there is no current going to started switch. i have check all the fuses all is good there. Charge the battery for about an hour still nothing.
The CDI unit could be faulty and send wrong information and shuts down the power . Once its colder you bike can start .
I have had a similar problem and had to change the unit .
Have a look at your battery and make sure its not dry .
the electronics can play a big part and the CDI is a regulator and ignition unit which will cut all power if its faulty and you will not start the bike once its dead
