I need an oil change and I cant find an oil that has SG in the label. What should I use?

You can use oil with an API rating of at least SG and therefore can use today's oils with an SN rating. The API service rating is basically a classification assigned to signify the oil's ability to reduce friction and oil consumption, improve emissions, and provide better lubrication. The API ratings are backwards compatible, but not vice versa, meaning SN will work for SG but SJ will not work for SM.

I need to know the best oil for honda innova 125

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell.

How much oil does 2002 tdi hold?

Synthetic Oil (approximately 4.0 quarts to 4.5 quarts depending)

http://pics.tdiclub.com/data/500/2929traditionaloilchange.pdf

The oil specified for use in the Volkswagen TDi for current models meets the "API Service CG-4" rating. This mark means that the oil has been tested for use in Diesel (C = compression ignition) engines to meet the requirements of a test level called "G" in a 4-stroke engine. The oil may also have been tested for use engines fueled by gasoline, methanol, propane, or other fuels ignited by a spark plug (S = spark ignition). The "S" ratings (SG, SH, SJ, etc.) have no bearing on the suitability of the oil to protect a Diesel fueled engine from the special demands imposed by the higher compression ratios and the tendency for all diesel engines to place soot in the oil.

SV650S Alternative Engine Oil

Suzuki recommends the use of SUZUKI PERFORMANCE 4 MOTOR OIL or an oil which is rated SF or SG under the API (American Petroleum Institute) classification system. The viscosity rating should be SAE 10W-40. If an SAE 10W-40 oil is not available, select an alternative according to the information below: -4°F - 86°F: 10W-30 -4°F - 104°F+: 10W-40, 10W-50 6°F - 104°F+: 15W-40, 15W-50 14°F - 104°F+: 20W-50 Engine life depends on oil amount and quality. Daily oil level checks and periodic changes are two of the most important maintenance itmes to be performed.
