Unknown fluild I have a 2002 buell blast and there are two plug under the crank. I just found out the one in the back is for the transmission fluid but I don't know what the front one is. I accidentally unplugged it when I was changing out the oil and fluid came out of it. I don't know what it is and how to replace it. I need help.

NO, The front plug should have a piece of ,etal around it and making that plug should be about 1/2 an inch sticking out the other plug should be closer to the engine. The 1st one is your clutch fluid, the second is your oil drain plug. You actually have 2 areas of draining, The plug from the engine where the screws are and the 2nd is the one on the side of your rear tire on the inside part of your frame the lowere rubber hose is also a drain. ( clutch fluid and oil take the same oil ) youll need to take the left foot peg off in order to remove the clutch cover plate......BE CAREFUL NOT TO STRIP THOSE 3 SCREWS holding the cover on.....It will be a B**** trying to take them out if you do.....make sure your engine is HOT prior to removing those screws.

Buell blast won't start without using starting fluid

Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Idle speed improperly adjusted.
2. Inlet system air leak.
3. Leaking accelerator pump.
4. Loose low-speed jet.
5. Plugged low-speed jet.
6. Contaminated or plugged low-speed circuit.
7. Enrichner valve is not seated or leaking.

How do you change the oil in a 2003 Buel Blast and where do you put trans. oil? The book says it is somewhere under the seat. My son has a 2003 Buell Blast and wanted to change the oil for the first time....

Yep that is all correct. There are two drain hoses next to the footpeg, one is oil and the other is the crank breathers, just open both of them.
The transmission drain plug is on the bottom of the motor, and the easiest way to refill it is to stick a funnel in the transmission vent tube that comes up under the seat.

What type of transmission fluid does a 2003 buell XB9R use?

It's best to use the Harley Davidson fluild as it has special additives that the aftermarket oils don't have. Oils checp compared to tranny's and or their repair. See you at the dealer
