Did you ever get this resolved? My 99 Grand Cherokee Laredo has as similar problem with an intermitten left turn signal failure. Yet the 4-way flashers never fail. And I can usually "reset" the left turn signal by engaging the 4-way flashers. It comes and goes at will. I've replaced all the bulbs and the multifunction turn signal lever. The only thing left that I can determine is the combination flasher under the dash.

My 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee turn signals stopped working. The indicator light/chime also stopped working. Tried flasher relay and a new switch but still not working. Hazards work fine. Any ideas?

Did you check power an grounds with volt ohm meter ? you replaced the combination flasher ? Did you check fuse # 20 & 4 in the underhood junction box ? Pull the flasher relay an check for voltage in an voltage out , need a wiring diagram to do that ! Go www.bbbind.com free wiring diagrams !

What would cause my blinkers to stop working on a 2000 jeep cherokee sport?

Interesting, these are on the same circuit.

1) Click the hazards on and off a few times to exercise the switch.
2) Replace the flasher timer relay.
3) I believe that this system has a little computer center, about the size of a machbox and it is located under the dash. Swap this out with one from a junkyard.

I need a fuse panel diagram to replace the turn signal flasher. Thanks

Before replacing the flasher does the hazards work, Try wiggling the turn signal lever up and down and back and forth with the key on and the lever in each position. If the blinkers or hazards start flashing you'l need a multifuntion switch. This isnt a definative test if you get nothing you may have a blown fuse. As fas as the flasher goes, go buy one and then you will know what it looks like.
