Are you out of gas? That'd do it. Could you describe the problem a bit more. How had the bike been running recently, did it just suddenly die completely or did it start running poorly then die, will it startt again after sitting for a while or still nothing, does it turn over at all?

Check for a fuel blockage in your lines, carb or fuel filter.

After riding about 15 miles today bike started sputtering and dieing on turns I changed the plugs but changed nothing

assuming it has gas, and a good fuel filter, you may have gotten a clog in the carburetor, I would suggest bringing it into the dealer.

Check the alternator brushes. My high reving YX600 used to go through a set every 5000 miles, and my bike would also just shut down.

Bike starts dies then wont crank overuntil i lift the gastank

Hey pal, i got a feeling it's nothing like you think it is...the tank shouldn't lift without removing the bolt or bolts that hold it down...also many bikes have wires that run down the frame under the tank and here i where i think the problem lies....remove your tank completely, fuel lines, fuel guage wires etc... and set tank aside....now carefully inspect where your tank has been vibrating and rubbing on the wires, coils etc that are located there....take your time here as you will undoubtedly find a wire or connection that the tank has been rubbing on and now causing a short circuit......mend,repair, and insulate anything that has been damaged..then carefully reassemble and enjoy your ride....Good Luck to you friend.....Tim

It wont start

well it could be because the bike sat for a while. with the 2 stroke gas being mixed with oil sometimes when it sits the oil sinks to the bottom and it will clog the valves fuel lines carb every thing. you should check.
