What is the proper way to in stall this belt

Jermaun, ensure you have proper size belt, and if it is a directional belt, it has to be installed with arrows pointing in the direction of engine pulley rotation. Watch the links below and do not pinch your fingers. Good Luck.

I have 03 kawasaki praire 650 v-twin its backfiring through front carb and wont run whats wrong

Backfiring through a carb is indicative of over advanced ignition. The spark is firing the fuel too early and exploding through the carburettor, instead of firing the piston over Top Dead Centre (TDC).

Another possibility is a damaged valve, do a compression test and get the timing checked.

Is water on transmission drive belt causing it to fly apart a common problem

Water on the belt shouldnt destroy the belt. It just makes it slip so you wont get full power out of it. If its wet & you are running it hard it could fry the belt.

I have a 2002 650 praire after it gets warmed up it starts missing out and the digital gauges go out

sounds like there is a wire that has been exposed and shorting out . as electricity flows through wires they heat up. as temp goes up the insulation around the wire gets soft so if wire gets pulled on or tugged on and there is a sharp metal edge it can cut through insulation and cause a short making certain items turn off.(id say if that's the problem it most likely to be around front of gas tank area. even the slightest indication of a wire that has had the insulation pinched or rubbed off take some electrical tape and apply around compromised area

Have you checked the belt light sensor and its connections? Is the wiring properly grounded and are in good conditions? Good enough to start searching?
