I was riding 83 hot start back so he honda goldwing 1500 trike and came up to redlight and went to change gears into neutral and when time to go bike wasn't running. Then we couldn't get it cranked so we had to push to side of ride. Now on our first stop , I turned bike off and it wouldn't start so we thought we touched fuse and it fired right up.

Sounds like a broken fuse - or a bad electrical connection at the fuse. Try removing the fuse and carefully clean any corrosion from it and the mounting hardware. Do the same with the battery connections.
