Question about 2008 kawasaki KLR 650

2008 KLR650 - Main Fusing Blowing

I've gone through three 20A main fuses in the past 4 days. No accessories running, just riding along on the street. The bike still runs for quite a while after the fuse blows. The second time it went, I had notice the problem as it shows up with the tach doing all kinds of strange things.

It went again this morning on the way to work (20km/12miles) after I had just replaced it. This time the only break light and low beam were on.

Why is my GE Advantium SCA2001 blowing the main fuse?

Yeah pal, you've not gone deep enough yet. You'll find a power wire bare inside the unit, pull it apart and tape that wire up to stop it from grounding out and blowing the fuse.

2008 Triumph Street triple instrument display not working

Hi, Chuck if some or all of your instrument cluster goes dark/blank immediately upon startup or a few minutes later riding down the road the usual suspects are:
1. Blown instrument fuse.
2. A bad ground in the instrument circuit.
3. Faulty wiring before or after the fuse.
4. Faulty wiring or connector between the fuse and the instrument cluster.
