Question about 2008 kawasaki KLR 650
The little pin is probably a needle from a needle bearing. The gearbox uses two needle bearings. The connecting rod big end also uses a needle bearing. The starter motor drive gear uses two needle bearings and the balancer assembly uses one needle bearing. No matter what you do, the engine has to come out of the frame and gets torn down. Sorry to tell you the bad news, this ain't gonna be cheap to fix.
