There is only one fuel line that goes from the tank to the carburator. The rest (Smaller lines) are vent lines and a bowl drain tube, that just hang toward the ground.

My bike sat for a couple months, now I need to know How to drain the gas

Disconnect the fuel line at the carby with fuel tap off. Put loose end into a container and turn on fuel tap. ( doesn't make a big mess that way) now you wait until it's empty, refill tank, flush fuel line a little, reconnect fuel line, then you might need to drain the fuel bowl on the carby as well using the screw to one side ( the bottom one removes the fuel bowl, you only want to drain it) DONE!

How do you replace fuel line on Husqvarna 455

You will need to pull the fuel line out of the fuel filler hole. Remove the fuel filter. Pull the line out of the tank. When re-installing the line cut the end at an angle to allow you to push it back through the hole (it is tight). Reconnect the filter. Then attach to carb.

I need the guide to reconnect the lines after changing the in take manifold gasket

Theres really no guide to tell you how to hook up each water, fuel, and vaccum line. The best way to avoid this is to mark your lines before they are removed. The only way I can think to help you is to send you to your local salvage yard and find your car with the same engine. Take a camera and take several snapshots of the lines that you need to replace. The only problem with this is that most cars will have several parts removed, making it more difficult to try to find your way back

Is there anyway to siphon gas from a 2001 dodge caravan or is there a block from getting a hose into the tank?

Today's vehicles fuel tube is crimped at the neck going into the tank. If you need to remove fuel, The fuel return line is the best way. Remove the line, and connect it to the container you want to fill, start the vehicle. The excess fuel returning to the tank is now going to your fuel can. When done, just reconnect the line.

Where is the fuel filter for 4.0 v6 cherokee located

  • Disconnect the negative battery cable and then remove the fuel tank cap to release fuel tank pressure. Remove the fuel pump relay from the PDC. Start the engine and allow it to run until it stops. Select any injector and unplug its connector.

  • 2

Connect a jumper wire from an injector terminal to the positive battery terminal. Then, connect the other jumper wire to the other battery terminal. Briefly touch the end to the negative battery terminal.

  • 3

Locate the fuel filter/pressure regulator near the front of the fuel tank, mounted to the body above the rear axle. Disconnect the fuel supply, fuel return and fuel pressure lines. Remove the mounting bolts and then the fuel filter/pressure regulator.

  • 4

Attach the new fuel filter/pressure regulator to the body and tighten the bolts to 30 in-lbs. Reconnect the fuel supply, fuel return and fuel pressure lines. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Start the engine of your Jeep and check for leaks

Fuel line replacement on Poulon 2050 14 inch Gas Chain Saw

First rule is to replace only one line at a time. Needle nose pliers is the only tool you should need. Replace the fuel line from the filter in the tank to the carburetor by removing the filter from the line, extract the line out of the tank, and remove the other end from the carburetor. Use the old line to measure for the replacement. Measure the point where the old line passed through the tank wall down to the filter connection. Mark this point on the new line, and push the line into the tank far enough to attach the filter (which you have checked for plugging), then pull the line back out to the mark. Make sure that you use the proper line for this connection as the filter must flop around to the lowest tank level so that the saw doesn't run dry of fuel when operated on it's side. The other connections are straight forward--just replace one at a time. Don't be stingy in making looping turns as you don't want future kinks. Hope this helps!

I have a Craftsman 917-272911 lawn tractor, and I believe it has a fuel problem. It starts fine and runs, but doesent keep the fuel filter full of fuel, so it spits and sputters. I replaced the fuel,...

You probably need to rinse the fuel tank out, To check if this will solve your problem disconnect the fuel line from fuel tank going to the fuel filter, remove gas cap and blow air thru line back into tank. This should clear any sediment impeding fuel flow temporarily. Reconnect line and start motor. If it runs longer than it has been then your fuel tank is in need of cleaning.

    Air filter replacement

Remove the 3 bolts from the instrument cluster on the tank, remove the wiring connectors to the instrument cluster under the front of the cluster, remove the tank and the filter is in the top of the box under the fuel tank. You are supposed to remove the fuel lines, but if you are careful you can set the front of the tank off to the left side of the bike and support it with a cahair or something similar so that the fuel lines don't have to be reconnected. OOOOPS need to remove the seat first.

    Hope this helps.
