Need help putting a toggle switch on a Daytona triumph 650 2005 model, just want to go from the battery to the lights

Hi, Shannon you need to put the switch between the main circuit breaker/fuse and the light circuit fuse/breaker to do this you need a wiring diagram that you can find in the back of your service/owners manual if you can not find the first and best tool you ever bought for your bike, despair not, I have found one for you that costs eight dollars. I need a manual for a 2016 t120 bonneville 1200

Hi, Trevor the vast majority of service/owners/parts manuals on the internet are "FREE" to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee around $10 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available, then there is eBay where you may be able to find what you need at a very high price because of its age and rarity. Most of the "FREE" manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have. To download your manual please click on the links below. Good luck and have a nice day.

1968 bonnie. Tried to start the bike this morning after putting it away for winter. Put the tappets down to provide fuel and the gas just started pouring out the tubes coming out of the carburetors.

Hi, Jeff and the usual suspects are:
1. Damaged or restricted fuel tank venting system.
2. Loose float bowl screws.
3. Damaged float bowl o-ring.
4. improper fuel level in the float bowl.
5. Worn or dirty inlet valve or seat.
6. Damaged or leaking float assembly.
7. Particle contamination in inlet fitting cavity.

Willa e 3134 cam fit this engine

Maybe.. You need a parts manual. I personally wouldn't swap parts from a 650 to a 750 or vise-versa. The Triumph factory at the time was going through to major changes and all kinds of stuff came out. I would say if the shafts are the same width and length.. all you are looking at is duration. The clearance settings should be the same. Many times there are compromises from idle to full throttle. That is the magic of what the Factory was doing for "the everyday rider".. luckily, the Triumph has a long history of experimentation.. I would go for it..

Read here .

Here is a forum I use for info from time to time.. Looks like what you want to do can be done. Why are you doing this.. cost? or because you want this modification. My heart goes out to ya if you are doing this because you have 140 cams and no 120 cams. They are easy to come by. looks like you will have to fiddle with the timing a bit.

Triumph bonneville t120 1968 low oil pressure problems.recently bought my triumph when i noticed the oil warning light did not come on when ignition was switched on.Bought a new one then it worked, but when...

Several things could be at play: Type or weight of oil, confirm this first. Not to question the rebuild but if not done properly (improper bearing clearances, too large) the oil pressure can be low and perhaps a worn pump too. While I am unfamiliar with the engine and oil pump loaction I'd check it if your able too. You'll probably need a good set of feeler gauges to check this if these clearances are outside of the pumps limits the pump will be less able to create pressure; this is of course more evident when the oil heats up.
Another cheap fix is to use a heavier weight oil.
Hope this might help,
Tom
