Question about kawasaki VN 1600 Mean Streak Motorcycles

My bike has just clocked up 54000 km and suddenly a vibration has started to occur which i believe is in the engine. when icoast with clutch in it goes and is more previlent when i de eccelerate down hill.

Please check the engine oil level once the engine oil level is low or its older you will get this type of symptoms

Only has 54000 miles and trasnmission getting bad vibbration


Start by replacing the gearbox oil. Then use some additives. Finally , if nothing works, you will have to get it repaired, the clutches are probably worn out.

Suzuki VS1400 Boulevard Vibration Problems


Try to check all the bolts tht holds the engine to the frame they could be lose.
I had a similar case and only to find tht the engine mounting bolts were lose the bike was Bultaco 125 sherpa.

Bad Vibrations


i would take it to the shop where you had it serviced and tell them since you had service it vibrates..... see if you can get them to figure it out, now it's not missfiring is it,

Stuck in gear


ry useing blue LOCTITE on the pinch bolts and other fasteners to keep the shifter from vibrating loose again. I had the shift linkage vibrate loose on my Thruxton when it was new, I had to fix it on the road to get home.

Clutch vibrating


Two reasons for this. Rattling is usually faulty pressure plate which means clutch overhaul. Depending on which Focus some have a rubber mounted flywheel which dies and must be replaced. Either way its gearbox out and check. First check all gearbox and engine mounts, but it sounds more serious.
