2003 Harley Davidson FLSTC Heritage Classic Logo

2003 FLSTC 21,000 MILES ENGINE LIGHT ON AFTER 7 MILES. DIAGNOSTIC DISPLAY IS do1clr,then do2clr,etc. to do10clr then it says:PPU, and next is 82883. What am I doing wrong?

Could be the speedo itself. The codes you are talking about are actually showing that they are clear. That's what the Clr stands for. If they were actually codes there it would show the number with set behind it instead of Clr. The PPU is the part number. As far as the speedo goes. Most of the time it is the speed sensor, but i would suggest taking it to a dealer to have them actually check the speedo correctly to see if it is that for sure.
