Question about 2000 BMW R 1100 RT (ABS)
In the US it's negative ground. to be sure,follow cables from battery,ground[earth] cable bolts to the frame at some point.ride safe.

At the following link you find the schematics of the R1100RS. I can hardly imagine that this is very odd from the R1100GT.
And in that case the 0Vdc is connected to the frame.
