Harsh shift, Acceleration hesitation, Rough idle

I have a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2WD, 4.8L V8, 4A, LT1 w/ 4 dr extended cab, with 23K miles. I get an occasional harsh shift from 2nd to 3rd, usually when the engine is somewhat cold. Also when I slow down to a stop, it sometimes feels like someone slightly bumped from behind, and I get this feeling again on takeoff from a dead stop. Also, if I slow down for a turn (but don't stop), and then accelerate again, often there is a hesitation before it accelerates, even though I give a healthy push on the pedal. Then when it does accelerate, there is a ****/whiplash as it hooks up again. I also have a rough idle occasionally, but I cannot attribute this to any particular situation, as it sometimes happens when the engine is cold, and also happens when the engine has been warm for a while. I've looked up these problems and found TSB numbers for all, and I'm going to take it to the dealer anyways (since its still under warranty), but I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas so I don't get the runaround at the dealer and get a worthless fix and/or a lot shoulder shrugging.

2006 chevy silverado k1500 extended cab z71 off road truck starts fine but when u go to shift into drive or any gear truck

The linkage came loose from the shifter to the transmission, I suspect. That should be an easy, or cheap fix.

Was there a bulletin issued to extend a warranty for spark plug wires, maybe #10250

Yes....10 years or 120,000 miles
Condition
Some customers of 2007-2009 model year Chevrolet Equinox and Pontiac Torrent vehicles equipped with a 3.4L engine (LNJ), and 2008 Chevrolet Express, Silverado; GMC Savana, Sierra vehicles equipped with a 4.3L engine (LU3) may comment about rough engine operation and the illumination of the Check Engine Light. This may be caused by spark plug wire boots that do not provide a sufficiently robust dielectric seal to withstand the high voltage required to fire the spark plugs.
Special Coverage Adjustment
This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 10 years or 120,000 miles (193,000 km), whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership. Dealers are to replace all spark plug wires and, if necessary, the spark plug. The repairs will be made at no charge to the customer. For vehicles covered by Vehicle Service Contracts, all eligible claims with repair orders on or after January 5, 2011, are covered by this special coverage and must be submitted using the labor operation codes provided with this bulletin. Claims with repair orders prior to January 5, 2011, must be submitted to the Service Contract provider.
Vehicles Involved
Involved are 2007-2009 model year Chevrolet Equinox and Pontiac Torrent vehicles equipped with a 3.4L engine (LNJ), and 2008 Chevrolet Express, Silverado; GMC Savana, Sierra vehicles equipped with a 4.3L engine (LU3).

I have a 2008 Silverado with a 4.3L engine. It has 46K miles. The engine light has come on and it idles rough and when accelerating, it pops back through the throttle body. Can you help with this problem?

Have the DTC read and take it from there. But i bet you have a cylinder misfiring. Once you get the DTC read it will lead you to the problem and you can tackle the job from there. It usually is a pretty easy fix.

Engine runing rough

This code is most likely not related to the problem, it sounds like you may have picked up some contaminated gasoline, maybe has water in it or other like dirt.

Harsh or improper 1-2 upshift

Have you had your throttle position sensor checked out? It'll cause a harsh and/or delayed shift from first to second. Second thing to check out is your PCM, as it controls the shifting of your transmission.
