1995 Kawasaki GPZ 1100 no spark

Hi, Davidalan and the usual suspects are:
1. Fouled spark plugs.
2. Severely discharged or a damaged battery should have 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage the battery is faulty and must be replaced, AGM batteries fail in this scenario more so than lead-acid batteries.
3. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Loose connection at ignition coil or plug between ignition sensor and module.
5. Spark plug cables in bad condition, shorting/leaking, spark plug cable connections loose check for spark leakage in the dark.
6. Faulty ignition coil or electronic control module.
7. Faulty pulse coil.
8. Faulty CKP, CMP, or BAS sensor.
9. Faulty ignition switch.
10. Tilt sensor needs a reset.
11. Security alarm failing to disarm needs reset

My motorcycle doesnt start , it's sending no power to the spark plug what could it be

disconnect a positive wire going to one of the coils and put a paper clip in it,put it on metal and crank the bike to see if it sparks, we can then go on from there.

thanks

1998 kawaski jet ski that boggs down on take off

Sounds like this bike sat for a while. When carburetors sit, the jet's inner diameter shrinks slightly from oxidization/micro-corrosion, and the diameter of the needles that go through them grows for the same reason.

Replace the jets and the needles that go through them.

I had this problem with a Suzuki GS850. When I fixed it, I treated the bike as I had been before I fixed it on the test drive, and almost launched myself off the back of the bike when I first opened the throttle. Careful.

I have a W reg 2000 kawasaki GPZ 500 s, with an eletrical fault. I was told it was probably the wiring or the generator, so I put a second hand wiring loom on it but it still wouldn't work, so I bought...

do you have a circuit diagram. have you traced the system through. Sounds to me like it is an issue before all that, either with the junction box or IC igniter. The stop switch could also be an issue as could the ignition switch. Keep posting if you want me to have a closer look at my wiring diagram

Sounds like the CDI. Next time it shuts off, pull a plug wire and check for spark. If it quit sparking, it's probably the CDI

Kawazaki gpz carbs will fire when you put petrol directlt in them

Check the routing of the wires under the tank. Also check the wire connections. It sounds like the installation of the tank is pulling on the wires causing a momentary disconnection of a power wire.
Alternate to that, are the spark plug wires grounding against the tank?

Please rate this solution. Thanks!
