Pioneer AirWave XM2Go Satellite Radio Receiver with Home and Car Kit Logo

Pioneer xm radio suddenly stopped playing through my car radio. Got xm to restart signal back to device but that changed nothing. Sometimes when I wave my hand near to the xm device the car radio receives a weak signal from the xm radio and plays. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

Sounds like the transmitter from your radio is dead. This happened to mine and the only thing that fixed it was to buy (on EBay) the module that connects to the earphone jack and is inserted into the tape player (yes my car still has one of those). Now the radio works perfectly again and the purchase was only $4.99. The tape player insertion actually comes with the original radio but I had thrown it out, thinking that I didn't need it.

I have same problem and sure connect did not help.
The unit works fine otherwise except will not send a signal to my car radio.
I will try removing the battery today & if this does not work I will do t paper clip reset in the battery compartment.

Dodge 2005 diesel truck has a Pioneer DEH 96200BT radio. The AM/FM radio part works but the sirius says "no device

Did it ever work? Sounds like you have an interface problem. Make sure the radio is connected to a Sirius XM satellite. If your device is not connected to a satellite, your device will display an error message such as "Searching for Signal."

Pioneer Model GEX-XMP "please wait" problem

Remove back cover and leave battery in. There is a tiny hole that you can use a small paperclip to do a RESET. After that, plug your AC adapter directly into the bottom of the radio. Go to MENU and select "SET FACTORY DEFAULTS". Then turn off, wait a minute, turn back on again and select "mode" to see if you can hear your prerecorded music. If these don't work, then you likely do have a defective unit. Let me know how this works for you - okay?

White screen

I had the same problem with my Pioneer Inno Gex-Inno2BK XM radio receiver. One evening while leaving work, I gently took it out of the cradle & the screen suddenly went completely blank & all white. I could still hear music but there was no screen visible. Solution is this: (1) Gently remove the back cover which covers the battery. (2) Gently remove the dark blue square battery which is only about 1 inch (width) by 3/4 inch (height) by 1/4 of an inch in thickness. I removed mine by holding the receiver upside down & gently shaking it with one hand until the battery came out into my other hand. After about 4 or 5 gentle shakes, it came out. (3) Wait about 10 seconds. (4) Place battery back into XM radio receiver being careful to line the copper power receptable on the battery with a corresponding surface inside the receiver. Each copper area is only about 1/10 of an inch by 1/10 of an inch. Use this as a guide when putting the battery back in to make sure it's lined up properly. (5) Gently slide the cover back in place & let it snap into place. (6) Turn receiver back on by pushing power button like normal. (7) XM receiver should boot up with a full display just like new. All recorded songs are still in place. Nothing has been lost. Problem solved. Root cause of problem is probably some type of boot-up issue with the receiver in which the battery (i.e., the power supply) just happened to be slightly ajar...which also persisted even when placing the receiver back in the cradle until the above steps were taken. The steps above worked beautifully for me...Hope it works for you as well! Have A Great Day...Tom Armstrong

Xm stopped working display says "antenna"

Broken antenna cable. Likely you have a kink or worn thru point on the wire somewhere.

Pioneer AVIC-D2

OK, I spoke to Pioneer tech support and they had me go to destination>settings>connection status. If the parking brake shows "off", many of the functions will not work as a safety measure. I guess this is their version of interlock. I think it can be defeated with a wire-around, but thats what they say the problem is.

XM reciever FM transmitter problem

hi Mr.Frazier....is the xm radio hardwired installed? if it's a yes you have to go to a professional(bestbuy, retailers) to have the connection check.. the problem is not within the xm radio..it's on how it was installed or set up...

If the radio was not built..well, that's much better we just have to check the audio connection from you're xm to fm radio (make sure to check if what band it is connected..such as AUX,CD etc.) if there's a sound but you're only getting preview channels..refresh must be send on the radio...you can call xm to ask for that OR do it online at www.refresh.xmradio.com and type in your 8 digit radio I.D just have to follow the activation instruction faithfully...Godbless!
