I have a 91 acura integra 2 door. Does anyone know how to remove the trunk lid? I don't see any nuts or bolts and my repair manual only covers a standard trunk lid. Needless to say the standard lid is simple. Any help out there? Thanks.

Buy Haynes manual for car should be covered use jack stands and level ground wI'll need 2 remover bolts that go thru rubber bushings probably need pry bar vise grips to get bolts out

changing 5th gear on most manual gearboxes can be done without removal of the gearbox ,remove the inner wing and then access is quite easy ,take the rear cover off the back of the gearbox undo a nut or bolt on a stud and then gear selector can be removed and then a circlip at the end of the shaft and of it all comes ,

i have a 1992 acura integra ls and i had the same problem. it's most likely that from your sun roof there are two pipes that run towards the back to get rid of excess water through the underside of the wheel well. the rubber tubes over time pull out (no pun intended) and all that water that hits your sun roof drains into the back of your car. when you slow down all that water hits the carpet and creeps its way to the back seats. what you need to do is take off the panelling of the trunk and reattach the rubber tubes. you can use RTV to seal it up. it's worked for me and im pretty sure it'll work for you.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Fig. 1: After you open the trunk lid, use a suitable prytool to remove the trim cover

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Open the trunk lid and remove the trim cover. If equipped, remove the nut cover.
3. Remove the upper shock attaching nut(s). If removing both shocks, remove one at a time.
4. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
5. Unfasten the lower shock absorber mounting bolts. One wrench will have to be placed on the bolt head side to retain the bolt as you loosen the nut. Usually a 15mm wrench is used to remove them. To install: Fig. 4: After the vehicle is raised and safely supported, use a socket to unfasten the lower retaining bolt

   Fig. 6: . . . remove the shock absorber assembly from the vehicle
   
6. Connect the shock absorbers at the lower attachment and install the attaching bolt.
7. Lower the vehicle enough to guide the shock absorber upper stud through the body opening, then fasten the upper shock absorber attaching nut loosely. Tighten the lower shock absorber mounting bolt to 35 ft. lbs. (47 Nm).
8. Remove the axle support, then carefully lower the vehicle. Tighten the shock absorber upper nut to 21 ft. lbs. (29 Nm).
9. If equipped, install the retaining nut cover, then install the rear trim cover. Close the trunk lid.
10. Connect the negative battery cable.

1) Jack up the ront part of the car and support it with safety stands.
2) Remove the brake hose clamp bolt.
3)Use floor jack to support the lower control arm. You can place the jack under the ball joint. This is very important. You need to have the jack under the ball joint otherwise force of the torsion bar will jump and cause injury.
4) Remove the self-locking bolt on the knuckle. Slowly lower the jack to remove the strut from the knuckle.
5) Remove two self locking nuts from the upper part of the strut.
) Remove the strut ( front damper) from the car.

They have a problem with the rubber inserts that help hold the cover to the air ducts. You need to take the wiper arms off and the main cover and check under that. If they are dry rotted or broke you need to replace them, I think theres six or seven of them.

The Belt Diagram should be on the underside of your hood, however they have a way of disappearing.

Note the loosenng of the Alternator Mounting and Adjusting Bolts/Nuts inorder to remove the Drive Belt.

you need to loosen and remove the alternator mounting bolts and remove the V - belt and alternator assembly.
