Question about 1993 Suzuki GSX-R 750 WP

Gsxr750 wp..cutting out after a few miles and then nightmare to restart...when it does its very lumpy and sounds like its on 1 or 2 cylinders...it then cuts out again.....if its left for an hour or so it will start ok and sounds as if nothing is wrong....i'm thinking carbs,...any other thoughts..cheers.

Yes, seems like fuel issue, check fuel tank filter, gas cap(for venting) any inline fuel filters, and if all those are good you will need to remove carb bowls and check for contamination.plz rate-bozcro

Hi, I have just replaced the cylinder head on my pajero 2.8 diesel. It started first time and ran for about 4/5 mins then cut out. It is attempting to fire but won't.....any ideas would be grate


Keep pumping the hand bleed pump on top of the fuel filter to remove all the air. when started and still a bit lumpy keep pumping and it should clear itself

1989 k100 bike will start andtickover from cold on choke but cuts out when throttle is opened.when engine is warm engine runs very lumpy will not rev unless iwork the throttle backwards and forwards not...


hi , check the following : 1 - old fuel or water in fuel ? 2- Drain the carbies 3- timing is out and need adjusting 4- Remove bowl from the carbies and give the jets a clean . try all this and let me know how you go .

I have a 1998 Cherokee with auto gearbox, with petrol/LPG conversuion... My beast runs fine, but having driven 250 miles it had no power due to a fuel problem ?? Accelerator pedal ineffective , although...


I think water on the plugs would make it run rough. But, that would be from the cylinder head gasket leaking into the cylinders and not a radiator leak. It's possible that the leak at the head gasket sealed up. Do you have to add coolant to the radiator to keep the level up?

If not, then it is just a fluke, and I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Just keep an eye on the coolant level.

Car is putting at an idle when gas is pressed runs smoothly


sounds like either you have 2 of the wires crossed.........one is loose....probably #1 or your #1 plug needs regapped or is not tight and losing seal....all will cause a misfire and set the check engine light
