Can you provide me with the year of my Yamaha snowmobile based on the model or serial number?

Hi, Andrew for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. For more information about your issue please visit the website below. Good luck and have a nice day.

I have a S P A boost gauge on my 2003 Yamaha rx1 snowmobile when I start it up it flashes a F L code does anybody know what it means plz let me know thx

You would be better off posting this on a snowmobile site rather than a motorcycle site BUT a very good place to ask such a question would be a Yamaha dealer service department.

I have a problem with my 1982 yamaha xl3

There are two clutches on a snowmobile. The primary and secondary. The primary is the one on the engine, the secondary is the bigger one closer to the rider.
Your belt should sit "just above" the top edge of the secondary clutch, and at the bottom/center of the primary clutch when the snowmobile is not running. You can normally tell if the belt is worn by looking at where it sits on the secondary. If the top of the belt is below the top edge of the secondary clutch, it's worn and should be replaced. Belts are typical wear parts and are just replaced (not adjusted) when worn. I go through a few belts a winter and ALWAYS carry a spare.
