Question about 2008 Yamaha Yamaha G5
Every time I stop the Vino Classic 50 stalls out - I have to hold the front brake and hit the electric starter with my thumb while giving it almost full throttle to get it to start again and that's too much for the front brake so it throws me into traffic
Remove and clean the carburetor. The problem is a plugged or partially plugged idle jet. There should be a throttle screw and an air screw on the side of the carb. The big screw is the throttle screw. Remove both screws and the float bowl and spray carb cleaner in all the holes and screens and jets to clean out the plug. Use goggles to avoid spray kicking back into your eyes. Put the two screws back in the hole each one came from and then turn them clockwise ubtil they LIGHTLY seat. Now open each of them one and one half turns.
