How do I rebuild the motor? Are you joking? That's like asking how do I fly an aeroplane. Many books and classes are dedicated to that subject alone, it can't be explained in a few sentences on a free website.

You should get a good manual. You will need it for specs anyways. It will give you tolerances that you will need to measure to verify if your piston, rings, and cylinder is still usable. I recommend the factory one, but clymer and hayes also make them.

How much will it cost to rebuild engine in my 1987 yamaha dt 200

I can only give you a ball park based on my experience. The cost will vary greatly depending on who you go to. However, if you pull out your own motor and bring it to them that will cut down on some labor costs. For me to rebuild my yz426f motor, after pulling the motor myself and having the shop do the rest it was about $500 with parts and labor. I would expect roughly that, but it is always wise to plan on a bit more.
