I had exactly the same problem:- usually only shows its head when it is hot right? The solution: its a simple clutch adjustment that if you play with the clutch sleeve immediately against your clutch handle, you can adjust it outwards. If you're not sure how, persevere until your next service (try rocking back and forth a little when stationery to get it into neutral) and tell the technician. Its a 2 minute job to fix....

My bike wont drive when in gear?

sounds like the clutch is toast though it could be other things assuming its not just stuck ie does the clutch lever return after you press it, if so you could try draining the oil out and pass it through a sieve, if there are bits of friction plate in it then the clutch has definatley disintegrated, if the lever stays in then the push rod may be damaged/stuck or the worm drive may be stuck. does the bike go into gear without pressing the clutch lever or stalling?, if the clutch was slipping prior to it stopping then this is likely a knackered clutch, it could also be the wrong oil in the gearbox or perhaps no oil in the gearbox, does the bike go into gear? does it go through all 6 gears and into neutral? more info is needed and even then without looking its hard to say but my guess would be the clutch is fried

1996 Isuzu hombre 2.2 manual trans is stuck in gear have removed the stick and put it in neutral and still stuck and stalls when clutch is let out

so , it seems the engine does start in gear, with clutch depressed.
or cranks , brakes off, and car does not move. with clutch depressed, if yes, then the clutch is not 100% seized.
we now know the trans is in neutral (could be siezed check its Gear lub levels?)

I can not decode, stuck in gear. elaborate that.
nor "
"still stuck"
the only clue here, is
"stalls when clutch is let out."

this last statement makes me presume you depressed the clutch
then turn the key to start, it started
and when you let the clutch out, the engine stalls
does it do that rear wheels (2wd mode) ? lift driving wheels off the ground.... (these proves engine not weak)
yes, transmission is sized.
no, then it is stuck in gear.

Why does my 2003 S Type Jaguar shifts hard in lower gears?

You're probably shifting wrong. Or there's a problem with your gear ratio or clutch. are you grinding the gears or is it just shifting weird?

Gsx750 clutch cable

See if you can push the bike with it in gear and the clutch lever pulled in. If the clutch is stuck, push start the bike, jump on, get to about 10 mph, pull in the clutch lever and hit the rear brake hard. This will usually break a stuck clutch loose.

1984 BMW533I stuck in gear.after towing in neutralshort distance .Hydralic clutch was out

Hi if the gear is stuck on gear they are two option there. First one maybe your clutch kit give up. Or something wrong with your gearbox. If the car is not idling try to take that gear of first normarly it should come off. If not remove your gear box to find out if the problem is the clutch or your gearbox. 1984 BMW 533I MANUAL 5 SPEED

If you tow your car in neutral how come is stuck on one gear. Towing got no problems. That mean it wasnt in neutral it was in gear but the clutch is stuck and seem the gear is in neutral. You should have clutch problem before you think about gear box.

I have a 2004 VT750C shadow Areo I did a side stand ignition cut-off check. start engine, pull clutch lever in. shift transmission into gear. lower the side stand all way down. The engine stopped as...

as a safety thing most bikes that I have seen will not start if in gear and the kickstand is down. Make sure it is in neutral and try to start if that doesnt work the switch at the kickstand may have gotten stuck in position to where it still thinks that the kickstand is down.

Shifts hard into 1st. When stopped hard to find neutral

hello and welcome
this is most likely caused from a wearing clutch. when the clutch is held in there are a series of clutch plates that seperate. and allow ease of drive force from the main shaft to the counter shaft. but if the plates get worn they tend to not disengage as well. and the gears do not engage as easily and finding neutral can be hard to find or impossible to do sometimes.
to fix this the clutch plates both the fibers and steels need to be inspected for warpage. im sure you will find the fault there. thank you.
