I took my vibe to the car wash about 40 feet out of the parking lot in started running on 3 cyl. and a light smoke coming from the exhaust i pulled off the road gave it a few good revs and she started...

The car wash pressure may have disconnected an electrical connector part way or completely. Check for this all around the engine and transmission. Touch and wiggle all of them! Dont forget to check under the car all the back to and around the gas tank. Also check for a vacuum line that is popped off or even broken.
Aside from that, water has got into something. Check all power distribution boxes for moisture.
If you dont know how old the plug wires are, or they are the originals, you should replace them.
With plug wires, its the age, not the miles.

My washing machine wont rince clothes it just humms.

Your machine might have a blocked water level sensor or sensor tube.
Many machines have independant sensors for when the water level is full and when empty.
After the wash cycle, if the machine just continues to try to pump water out (even when empty), then it's most likely a sensor problem.
Sometimes, the sensor also has a breather tube, and if this clogs with fluff / debris, similar symptoms esult.

I have a 2005/6 Honda Shadow Aero 750, I was coming home today which intails drropping dow a mountain....about 2000 feet over 5 or 6 miles....when i got to the bottom and noticed it was blowing...

Check your oil level. Engine braking down a mountain side could be overloading the breather system, only because most people do not know there are pollution tubes under and behind the motor, in front of the rear wheel. They collect oil and crud from the engine blow by and recycle it through the carburetor intake. If they are full it collects in the bottom of the air box. This is probably causing the smoke and oil you describe. Place a pan under the tubes and pull the plugs out. All the oily crud should come out. Then put the plugs back in. Also check your air cleaner for oil saturation you may have to wipe out the bottom of the air box or even replace an air filter. Also check that a breather tube has not come off of the top of the motor. This could also cause the oil between the cylinders you describe.

Oil on breather tubes.

Not sure how many miles you have but oil on breather tubes (depending on how much) is normal the problem is when you have excessive blowby and high oil consumption. When was the top end done last... If never, it's due....

Wash cycle water level

the water needed needs to just come up right under the door this is how much water they use cause they use a tumble wash to clean the clothes
low water preasure is a problem but also make sure both water inlets are being used (hot and cold) even if you dont have hot attach a y hose the machine needs both inlets in use
these machines use very low water usage but they still need a fill up point
