Question about 2003 Honda VTX
Use Seafoam, get it at auto parts store...your carbs probably have dirt clogging up some passages mine did and it took ten miles for i felt it spit out and all my horse power came back...Seafoam wont hurt your bike ...i use it almost on everyfillup...it only takes about a third of a can per two to three gallons. it cost ten bucks from autozone....it'll run rough for the first ten miles or so till the float bowls exhaust there original fuel, but you should notice a difference and get on the speed to help blow the **** out. use a lower octane fuel it helps the bike start easier. fresh cheveron or shell gas i found out is the best.. that mobil gas is a lower grad i think, and also go to a gas station that has a lot of customer traffic... that will insure top quality fresh gas... the gas they produce now is not the same as a few years ago and thats why we bike riders are suffering more problems starting....but dont fill up if you see the tanker truck there...they tend to stir up sedements from the botttom of the main tanks....hope it fixes it!
