Usually with a wrap dress, you join front triangular pieces to bodice back at shoulders and side seams (often leaving a slit open in one side seam to pull the tie through). Then stay stitch neck and front edges to prevent stretching. Then neaten neck edges turn and stitch, or attach a facing. Probably if this pattern has a facing then you may need to attach skirt to waist and also attach the tie ends to the front edge before facing is attached. So when you turn facing to inside you will have the tie end in position at the point of the bodice/skirt seam on both sides of the dress.

The presure is coming out of only one jet what causes that


Check the faces of each one of your jet trim. It could be that they are adjustable and have all been turned down or off except that one jet face.

I have just replaced the pull cord on my whipper snipper however after fixing it im having trouble getting the actual motor back on to the shaft. It fits in but stops about 5mm short from all the way.


You probably have the counter weights from the shaft hitting the bottom of the piston skirt. To remedy this, you will have to pull the piston/connecting rod off of the shaft, turn it around and install it the other way. If you notice, the piston's skirt is longer on one side than the other in most cases.

I have a homelite trimlite trimmer model UT20006 can you tell me which way the connecting rod goes by the part number on bottom rod bearing?


Check the piston itself. The piston skirt is "cutaway" on one side to clear the counterweights of the crankshaft. If it is installed the other way, the engine won't rotate completely as the weights will contact the longer skirt of the piston.

The knob on my kenmore elite won't move the timer.


The knob itself turns the switch on . The skirt move the timer position. Try turning the skirt. You probably have a broken knob. On these the knob is held in place with a plastic rod inserted into it all the way. This spreads the tip and retains the knob. To get the knob off to yank out the skirt for a look see you need to pull that rod out a tad to release the knob. 88be11a.jpgThat shaft has a rounded end on it that spreads out and locks the knob on. Clever ain't it? These timers are cheaply made, if you cannot find fault with the knob or the skirt then you is gonna need a timer.

Uhh there are no rods in the head. That dealer has a loose rod in his head maybe.
The crank, rods and pistons are all in the bottom end of the engine.
What it likely is is either a broken piston skirt or a spun rod bearing.
Spun crank bearings are rare and sound deep.
A spun rod bearing can be fairly quiet on idle depending how bad it is worn out, but it will be really loud on acceleration. Piston slap from a broken skirt can be pretty loud too but it mostly sounds like diesel rattle only a bit less. Some have described it as a loud pinging sound like detonation.
Drain the oil and check for metal debri. If you can tilt the vehicle a bit for the oil to drain more towards the drain hole that could help. Then look for metal pieces and judge their size. There should be NO glitter whatsoever in engine oil, or any kind of debri. Now a rear end or transmission is different. Those always have a little metalic sheen to them.

Rebuilding 2002 jeep 4.0 need torque for the crank and connecting rods


Mains, 80, rods, 33...Don't forget to plasti-gauge bearings before final install. Make sure there isn't any lube on saddles or bearing backs before putting it together. Use pre-assembly lube on bearing faces and crank pins. Check that crank spins freely after each cap is torqued. If not find out why before continuing.

"ok use the first skirt for every one. and heres what u do. cut them the shortest they can get. then do one hot pink with the polka dot patterns, next do one lime green with the stripe pattern then do one yellow with the flower pattern, next bright blue like turquisy but BRIGHT and with the plaidish pattern and lastly use bright purple with another flower pattern but make sure its a different one then the one u used before! best of luck. hope this helped"
