Question about Yamaha XT 660 R Motorcycles
2000 yamaha 660 grizzly. Suddenly the throttle sticks at full. Problem is in carb.
Sounds like the return spring got squashed. Take the top off of the carb, free up the spring and, if it isn't broken, reassemble carefully.
Try it afterwards, if it still sticks it could be the cable.

Yeah, no 660 till 2002, 600 though . If it is 660 they aren't traditional Carb that cap screws off with spring and piston controlled by cable. Its a butterfly controlled by cable creating vaccuum that lifts piston by diaphragm. Check all mechanical functioning of Carb parts.
