My mechanic is asking to re bore my bajaj pulsar 150 2006 model. Just wanted to check if i should do that or replace the entire bore piston kit

Hi, Amit it takes special equipment and skill to bore a cylinder properly so it can be guaranteed then there is the price difference if you trust your mechanic and reboring is substantially cheaper then go for it but if the difference is just a few "DRACHMA" then get the big bore kit for more information about your question and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need, please click on the links below. Hi I have an 03 Tiburon v6 that wont go into 6th gear can the problem be fixed and what parts do I need to fix it?

Best recommendation is take it into a transmission shop. there are a number of things that could be causing this from a bad solenoid to a bad seal and even a bad clutch. If you do it yourself you would be best to go ahead and buy a total rebuild kit and do this work on a table with a manual and a extremely clean workspace so you can keep up with all the springs and balls that are in there

Replacement clutch is too small? Thought there was only one engine in 2000 hyundai accent, the 1.5L. Title says its been rebuilt twice. How do I find out what clutch i need to ask for?

the different clutch sizes are for the different capacity engines
The 7" would be most likely be for the 1.4 or 1.6 version engines where the 8" would be for the for the 2.0 or 2.4l engines
If the flywheel is flat across the face ( not recessed) the the clutch plate you want will fit as long as the pressure plate is the same diameter and the bolts fit the cover to the flywheel
it is possible to get a standard clutch kit or a heavy duty clutch kit which has a higher pressure plate reading to cope with heavier loads ( towing etc)
if an 8" came out , you need to replace it with an 8"
The bigger the clutch , the longer the period before replacing it
If you can get to it you can measure the shiny wear patterns on the flywheel and if the incorrect plate was fitted at some time you will see the old wear pattern outside the latest shiny surface
what you have to be aware of is the spline number and size of the new clutch plate so try it on the input shaft before fitting to the flywheel

I have a 2003 subaru baja (no turbo) and while driving on the highway had to almost come to a complete stop due to a sudden accident in front. since then I have a whining/grinding like sound when I press...

If you are driving and you put the vehicle in neutral and coast, push the brake pedal and NOT the clutch pedal and see if the noise is still there. If the noise is there, then you will need to get your brakes checked out. If the noise only happens when the clutch is pushed in, then your clutch release bearing might have something wrong with it. I hope this info helps.

Got a rover 25 put new clutch kit on goes into gear but wont drive when take off clutch cable off it drive what could it be

Hey Andy,

If you have not figured out the remedy for this question yet here goes what may be the cause & remedy for the clutch kit.

The pressure plate assembly which contacts the clutch pack may need to be adjusted accordingly to meet up with the clutch assembly.

Clutches can be intensively complicated to install correctly, you will also need the following:

  1. Through out bearing
  2. pressure plate
  3. shift fork
  4. clutch pedal cable with adjustment nut

Many clutch kit's come with new components to complete the installation, however, many other clutch kit's do not have these
necessary item's as part of there kit's.

Also, a leaking rear main shaft seal is a clutch worst enemy!
Hope this helps ya out if need be!

I have a baja 2008 125cc and I want to know where I can find the clutch cable and the spark plug for it. can you please help me?

Hi, Jancarlos_ol for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. I drive a toyota corolla 2007 face lift model. My car has 61k mileage on it. Oil levels are fine and i done a 60k service on my car. But my clutch is extremely hard. Its the hardest clutch i ever felt. i...

If it has a cable,it may need lubed if it is hydraulic type, it may have binding likage in the bell housing! I,d rather think it has a cable. DOES IT HAVE 2 FLUID CHECKS UNDER THE HOOD,ONE BIGGER ONE, AND ONE SMALLER OR JUST ONE BIG DOUBLE LOOKING CAP, OR LONGER LOOKING RESERVOIR ON A CYLINDER WITH FRONT AND REAR TUBES! THIS IS FOR THE BRAKES! If you see one more then it is for the clutch.

I have been told that my neutral safety switch is out on my 2006 Subaru Baja. I have a manual transmission. I didn't think manual transmissions had a neutral safety switch. Please advise.

correct, but they do have a safety interlock somewhere on the clutch that prevents starter from getting power if clutch is not pushed in.
