85 XR 350 front brake caliper pistons sticking. I can't get the pistons out by using air. Any tricks to getting them out?

If air doesn't work, I have made a tool that helped. I got a bolt that fit into where the brake line goes, (Banjo bolt) drilled a hole through it, and thread tapped it to accept a grease fitting on the top. Then I pump grease into it to force out the piston. (s)

How to fit brake bads

Wow, what a nice simple bike to work on...First remove the bolts that hold the caliper to the fork, should be 2, might only be 1 on a bike that lite.. turn the caliper upside down and you will see how to remove the pads, if they haven't already fallen out . Make sure you have the replacements w/you before attempting this repair...Good luck to you...Tim

HOW DO I CHANGE BRAKE PADS ON HONDA XR125

For rear \/ \/ \/ \/
1.There is a alan head screw that goes through the top of the brake pads. you want to remove that next take a flat head screw driver stick it between the pad and disk turn it to loosen the grip. slide the pads out put the new ones back it ,then put the screw back in. pump brakes before you ride.

For Front \/ \/ \/ \/ \/
remove any disk guards, there are two bolts that connect the caliper to the fork remove those, use the screwdriver again to loosen the grip. then Remove the screw and take out pads and put the new ones back it ,then put the screw back in. pump brakes before you ride.
