Live of an engine is 100,000 to 1,25,000 when well maintained. After that you will need to change the piston assembly.

My mechanic is asking to re bore my bajaj pulsar 150 2006 model. Just wanted to check if i should do that or replace the entire bore piston kit

Hi, Amit it takes special equipment and skill to bore a cylinder properly so it can be guaranteed then there is the price difference if you trust your mechanic and reboring is substantially cheaper then go for it but if the difference is just a few "DRACHMA" then get the big bore kit for more information about your question and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need, please click on the links below. I m confused when to do 2nd free service of my pulsar 150 ug4.5 as the manual says 4500-5000 km i have done 3570km till nw please help

The estimated kilometers is a guideline to allow the engine sufficient time and kilometers to work in or break in as it normally called. Taking the motorcycle in early may not have allowed the engine to "loosen up" enough for final adjustments. I can only suggest that you run the remaining kilometers as per the manual before the service. If you have concerns then take it to the place and have them quick look to see if it needs oil, the chain is loose or something else is out a bit in adjustment and if it needs oil then add to it, ride the remainder and then take it back for the service at the proper kilometers.

My bikes engine is running fast how to slow it down bajaj pulsar 150 cc from last few months local mechanic is unable to fix the problem

this sounds like you may need to clean out the carbourator with carbflux, you then should be able to adjust the idol which will overall lower your engine speed.

good luck and safe riding

Can we put engine covers in Bajaj Pulsar 200cc.If we can then what size of engiene cover will be suitable,i mean half or full engine cover will be best???? Does it affect in performence of the engine or...

No, you should drop the idea of covering your bike engine because Pulsar is not a liquid cool bike the fins on the engine are made to cool the engine by air If you cover the engine your bike will heat up quickly which will reduce the life of engine.
