Same Problem! Worked fine, then when I opened door to put my last load in, there was a flash - thought it was the light, which actually was burned out too, but it won't start and when I run the diagnostics, I get the "3E" error message. Help!

I did get this fixed. In the end it was simply a clogged vent port which blew the thermal fuse.

thanks

Whirlpool dryer model #gew9200lw0 has a " control locked " indicator light on and it won't start

To toggle the Control Lock on and Off on the GEW9200LW0, press and hold the End of Cycle signal button for 3+ seconds. You should see the indicator light go off and hear a single beep. The Control Lock is useful when you clean the control panel or to stop small children from accidentally starting the dryer with a sibling or pet in the unit.

The Control Lock function is described on page 19 of the user manual. You can find the manual here at the Whirlpool manuals site, https://www.whirlpool.com/services/manuals.html , or the product site at Sears Parts Direct, https://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/user-manuals/gew9200lw0-whirlpool-parts-manual . The direct link to the manual is currently: https://www.whirlpool.com/content/dam/global/documents/200209/owners-manual-3979274-RevB.pdf or https://c.searspartsdirect.com/mmh/pd_download/lis_pdf/OWNM/L0409510.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Dryer check filter light keeps blinking and dryer will not start cleaned lint filter and nothing happened display on control board blinks when dryer is turned on and that's about it can you assist dyer...

I had the same problem, Check Filter light blinking and beeping, could not select drying type or start dryer. Short story, turned out to be the Less time button was stuck pushed in. Long story, a week before I had replaced the drum rollers and belt, everything was working fine for the week after then this problem. Totally by accident, after trying all the recommended actions (unplugging, pushing buttons, etc.) leaning on the right front corner would stop the beeping and allow the machine to work. Pushing all the buttons, I found the Less time button would not click. Apparently, when I took the control panel off to change the rollers and belt I flexed the control panel enough to misaligne the button and switch. Pulling the back of the control panel loose and making sure the push button and switch were aligned and working correctly everything works fine now.

Whirlpool Duet GGW9200LL1 will not start

The electric flash does not sound cool, It sounds like you have a door switch problem. Check to see if the door switch button is in tact. If it is , you may have to go after the door switch itself. Try this, press more time, less time, more time, less time buttons in that order, the whole panel should light up, open the dryer door, you should hear 1 beep and OE displayed, If you have this the door switch is ok, Catriver

Duet Dryer will not start, Press control on, Start, then it beeps

try tripping your circet breakers dont assume that just because it lights up both lines are working you can have a partial tripped breaker and just be getting 110 to the drier its easy enough to just go ahead and reset the breakere if that dont work get back to me
