i have all the jets as its says on the manual and the jet screw settings the same as the book and still seems to sputter could it be a problem with valves although i did a compression test and all cylinders were about 150 psi and the bike was cold so it seemed ok.

Seems it is running a bit too rich , getting to much fuel, you need to put smaller jet or adjust jet screw, depending on carb type

your valves and cylinders are fine. if you are sure your carbs are good and tuned, it comes down to plugs, cables and coil. remove plugs and turn over with plug treads on block. you should have a nice blue spark, white is ok and orange is bad.

Timing problem zxr750h1

Hi Darren, it's Chris. I'm tipping you'd like to have exploded view diagrams of every part of the motor then...... Brilliant site this!

Otherwise do a search for manuals thru these Fixya links about manuals, or search "ur model name" forums for links about tuning etc......that's why I have a laptop in the bike shed!

Indicator problems, Kawasaki ZXR 750 91'

try a new flasher can, if you remove it and jump the two wires together, the indicators should come on but not flash when you move the lever, check the fuse as well, though youve probably done that

My kawasaki zxr 750 j2 wont start at all there is not even a spark

Get a service manual. If you dont have any spark then that's the first thing you need to fix. All the checks for that one item would take me all day to type out. get a service manual!

Bought a zxr 750 j1 to use as a track bike. It came with a full Micron race system on it. I had my first track day on sat. When coming out hairpin onto straight it seemed to have a lack of power/bog down...

hi,this might help,i race a 750 gsxr same sort of problem, the carbs will definitly need to be rejetted i had to go up 30 sizes to fix mine, also lift the needles in the carbs this will give a richer mix right through the rev range,it will use more fuel but hey ,they still make the stuff,re your 3 cyl problem,i would start with the simple things first, check or swap your spark plugs out for a new set and see if it still does it,while you have the plugs out check the cylinder compressions, what you describe could also be a faulty coil,it will be a process of ellimination to track the fault down...hope this helps...cheers

Hi i need cdi box for 94 zx7 l1 l2 or l3

Google " motorcycle salvage kawasaki " You should be able to find a good used CDI there. I checked and found a new CDI is in stock at Babbit's. $326.00.

Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part, the part is not in stock.

A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks!

Battery not charging

it will either be a stator problem or your regulator rectifier has gone down , id say most likely to be the regulator rectifier ., not really a good way to test these with a meter its just a case of check what readings you are getting from the stator if they are ok fit a new regulator ,your regulator is a square peice of metal with lots of cooling fins on it , here is a idea of what it will look like as this one is on ebay im unsure if it is the right one for your exact bike as i dont know year and model code etc , but should give you a idea what your looking for .

hope this helps ,
kind regards
