Question about 2001 Honda NSR 125 R
On the bottom left hand side of your tank, in the middle, there is a little black plastic tap, it says things like on/off/reserve, directly behind that on the steel it says the same thing...make sure you turn the tap so that On lines up with On on the steel plate behind it. There is a hose coming from the bottom of that tap, thats your fuel hose.. that hose should run to you carburetor Silver/grey thing under the air box ( big black plastic thing) you may need to remove the air box to see the carburetor, to do this you unscrew (but not all the way) the hose clamp (round silver ring with a little screw) and pull the whole air box off.. on the air box at the front, there is a hose.. maybe blue or green or clear... one end goes from the front of the air box down through the engine and does not attach to anything.. remember that you will see lots of little hoses/pipes that dont actually attach to anything, these are breather and overflow pipes... there is only one hose that comes from your fuel tank, and it goes straight (may be some bends and stuff) to your carburetor.. the oil line goes from your oil tank (the clear/milky tank to the front right hand side under the fuel tank) into the carburetor as well.. you will see a few little black tubes that dont attach to anything coming from the carb (breather lines)... so long as the oil and fuel lines are connected from the carb to their tanks, everything should be alright..
I hope this helps..

The green pipe may or may not be the fuel pipe. This is a 2 stroke as far as I remember nsr125...so the green pipe may also be carrying 2 stroke oil...Now for it not to start may be lots of reason and you need to start trouble shooting by different steps..Check fuel, flow of fuel to carb, check spark if there is any coming to spark plugs and so on....Hope this helps..

The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. You can access the fuel tank thru the trunk. Inside the trunk and underneath the carpet, there is a access panel. Remove the five screws and lift the access panel. There under the panel you will see the pump. Disconnect it and take it to the auto parts store as they usually want the old one for an exchange. Joe
