Your battery is located under the seat. "Always" disconnect negative first, as to lower the risk of grounding your screwdriver when moving to the positive cable. When reconnecting do "Positive" first, for the same reasons discribed. Dresser batteries are the largest an heaviest so it's just a matter of finding a good place to lift after it's disconnected. Also, It may be wise to have your charging system checked if you ride this bike all the time, as your battery should have lasted longer.

Battery went dead on 2007 ultra glide and now radio doesn't work. Not the fuse.

If it's the original battery, replace it, and check the charging system to make sure it's charging properly.

No start 09 Ultra Classic Electra Glide

Sounds like your charging system is not charging the battery.

Put a volt meter on the battery, run the engine up to maybe 2,000 RPM. The voltage must be at least 13.8V, but not more than 14.5.

If that is all OK, your battery is worn out, and is not holding sufficient reserve. It would need to be replaced.

Battery changeout

I'm not absolutely positive but most Ultra's have the battery located behind a fiberglass cover just forward of the right saddlebag. Good Luck!
