What's the procedure of bleeding hydraulic disc brake of a motorcycle
Hi,,best to get a good self bleeding tube, a small jar, and a spanner for the bleed nipple on the brake caliper, and the right brake fluid for your bike,
undo resurver cap, then put the bleed tube on the bleed nipple, put the other end into the jar, then put about a inch of brake fluid into the jar so it covers the end of the tube, then fill the brake resurver up near the top, then open the bleed nipple on the caliper only enougth to let the fluid come out,now pull the brake leaver in slowly, you should now see fluid going down the tube into the jar(if it dosnt open the blead nipple a bit more),if you can see fluid going down the tube into the jar,let brake leaver out slowly, keep repeating the prosedure untill you see all air bubbles gone or if you want to replace all the fluid untill you see the clean fluid coming through, dont forget to keep the fluid in the resurver topped up other wise you will draw air bake into the system and will have to start all over again,if you have two discs on the front do the one firthest away from the resurver first, when you have finnished the bleeding make shore the fluid thats in the resurver is in between the min and max marks, hope this helped a bit.
