Did you check the fuse at the starter relay?
This is main system fuse and not in the fuse panel with the other sub-system fuses.

Get your multimeter out, and test the wires going to and coming from your ignition switch. IF your light doesn't come on when you turn your switch on, you have a bad wire, or a bad switch.

New Battery in Bike, turn the key and nothing happens.

Get a test light probe so you can follow the power lead from the battery to the fuses. It will show you where power is getting to and where it isn't.

I have a 98 yzf1 bike was running been having issues wuth the fuse for the head light started bike today pulled down the drive way bike shut off turned the key off then back on n nothing no lights horn...

Hi, Sounds like you have a bad ignition switch. Also check alternator, so that battery is charging.
Do a test for me, start engine disconnect battery. If alternator is working you should have light and horn. Stop, engine reconnect battery. This will give you a better idea where the problem lies.
Good luck.

HI BATTERY SEEMS GOOD........NO LIGHTS ,INDICATORS,NOTHING WORKS BUT...,...........MAIN FUSE TESTS HOT........NO POWER DETECTED AT 3 PRONG CONNECTION TO IGNITION SWITCH(KEY) WITH TEST...

Hello,

It sounds, in my opinion, that you have a break in your wiring or a loose connection (could be a missed blown fuse) - you could also have overloaded the fuse panel (look for burned areas on the front and back of the fuse panel). I use a live circuit tester, turn the ignition switch on, and run the tester over the wires - of course this would mean that there would be power to the ignition switch.

Did you upgrade to a higher wattage, or halogen, headlight? Did you go to a Three Light System? If so, you may need to use a load stabilizer or equalizer to maintain the correct current throughout your electric wiring system.

Another thing to look for is a secondary fuse, could be in-line, to your ignition.

All of the above is just to help you with a starting position. Electrical problems are very difficult to diagnose and time consuming.

Take your time and if you find yourself getting frustrated, take a break for a bit. Remember to jot down the fuses and wires you have checked - this will save confusion later.

Hope this helps you out.

Regards,

Oz

Yeah, you have a short somewhere in the electrical system, or your alternator is overcharging.

Honda cb750 f2 1978fault on old bike ! electrical problem

From your explanation it sure sounds electricals, but surprising to hve a total failure to the electricals and thn it reappears after 30seconds!
Best would be to go through the wiring especially frm the battery onwards, the fuse box .
Since it is totally disappearing it should be a fault to those main wires could be lose connections somewhere!.
Hope this helps.
