Put new br10 plug in ride a mile stop bike with not start agin till new plug put in again

determine if any dtcs are set and if so what ones. Check engine temperature sensor. cHECK RUNNING FUEL PRESSURE ALSO.

when i shut off my 2002 suzuki motorcyle it run perfect then went to start i and have no power battery good have no light on dash no head light brrake light everything is dead what could be wrong can you help with a idea thank you dave

How long is the bike setting between when you park it and when you try to start it again? When you get ready to ride it, did you put a battery charger on it and bring the battery to a full charge?

When thinking it's getting to be time to ride, I recommend charging the battery with a charger disigned for ATV'S/motorcycles. When the battery is fully charged, take the charger off and test the battery with a load tester. If it passes the load test, attempt to start the bike. If it starts, and there is no further problems, Enjoy the ride till you park it long term again. I might suggest putting a battery tender and very slow trickle chat=rge on during storage

Make sure the air filter is clean (& not over oiled if sponge type)
Make sure that the pilot screws on #1 & #3 are 2 turns out and #2 is 2.25 turns out
Try turning 1/8 of a turn at a time
Also change to a softer plug - NGK DPR7EA-9 or equivalent as these stay hotter to burn more carbon off

you didnt mention anything to do with the carbs so try some "Sea foam".... purchase at Autozone ($10) pour 1/3 can to two gallons fuel and drive it around for a good 10 to 15 miles and get on it once in awhile, ride safe..if the carbs are dirty or clogged... they wont be after your ride..there might be a little hesitation your first couple of miles till it starts to work..it took my bike 10 miles before it cleared out..bump start your bike if you have to to get it going and keep it going till it clears up.

Sounds like you are not getting a charge from the alternator. You need to check battery voltage with a meter with the engine off, key off. Then again with it running, and the voltage should increase. If not, it's not charging.

DRAIN CARBS FROM PETCOCK AT BOTTOM OF EACH CARB MAKE SURE FUEL DRAINS COMPLETELY THEN TURN FUEL BACK ON, IF THIS IS AN INJECTED MODEL DRAIN TANK AND FLUSH THEN RUN IT HARD FOR 20 MILES OR SO, MAKE SURE YOUR OIL LEVEL IS OK

It seems your piston ring needs to be replaced since its worn out. i am saying so because of the way the bike is being used. Since its 2 stroke, engine oil from the sump is making its way int the firing chamber and depositing on your sparkplug. Therefore pay special attention to the last ring, thats the one which uses the oil for lubrication...........sodeep

Sounds like you either have corroded wires going to your battery or your alternator is not properly charging the battery. Get the bike to an autozone and ask them to put their tester on it.

though if it was a problem it would have blown the 10amp fuse????Don't rely on on whether the bike will start at a gas station to determine if the charging system is working. Get the multimeter out and do a proper test. Should be getting about 14.5 volts @ around 3K RPM. It's too easy of a test to to just skip. If it is charging then start looking for something else. Was the new battery properly charged to begin with? Loose battery connection? I suppose the GPS could be too much but you said that it was dying last november so I would suspect something else. P.S. you need a properly charged battery to get an accurate reading for the charging test. ,,,
