On e-bay, the brake pads retail for around $30. Expect to bay a bit more for these in a shop and with labour on top. Could cost up to $100 for a dealer to do it. However it you purchase your brake pads yourself, with basic tooling you could do the job yourself saving a lot of money..We would be happy to give you set-by-step instructions on how to do this if you decide to go that way.
you"ll have to get a new piston and start over im afraid...you dont want to mess around with Front brakes.. then add all new dot4...you should only need to pump them four to five times then go ride real slow...once confidence is biult up and you trust the breaks hit about 40mph and genty apply brakes to suff them in the do it again and again for the first day..second day start getting on them a lot harder and then they should be seated perfectly...no glaze!
