SOURCE: i need to set up and adjust xenon headlights for a

The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.

Wont start when hot

The starter is effected by heat. Does the motor spin just as fast when trying to start it when the motor is hot? If it cranks real slow it is the starter. If it cranks over at the same speed it is not the starter.

Get an account on a mini cooper forum and post the question there. you could also try a small spray of starting fluid into the air cleaner. If it starts and stalls then it is a fuel delivery issue. If it does not start then remove a spark plug and verify that there is a spark as the motor cranks over. Check for any blown fuses.

It's the rear parcel window shelf.
If you want a new one, you can buy it from: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do just fill out the information (R50 if you have a Cooper, R53 if you have a Cooper S) then do a search on shelf (you will need to buy shelf and cords)
If you don't mind a used shelf, you can search on your local MINI forums, northamericanmotoring.com or ebay.

Mini Cooper P1689 code

P1689 - No communication between ECM & Injection Pump Module. This is why it's a hard start and the peddle isn't acting like it should. There's a problem where the (Computer) ECM, isn't making contact with the Injection Pump module. So the computer doesn't know what the pump is doing or sending. Could be a cut in the wires, corrosion, etc.. So many things it could be, fuel pressure is low.

It sounds like that is a common problem. You might try one of those battery tenders that keep your battery charged.
The full list of reasons from the manual why the stop/start will stop operating is:
- outside temp below +3c
- "inside of vehicle in heat-up or cool-down phase"
- high outside temp and A/C on
- engine not yet up to temp
- bad battery
- after reversing
- driver's seat belt undone

MINI COOPER AIRBAG R50 AND R56

If you have a Mini that was buit pre 2006 i.e. a first gen Mini then your new steering wheel will not fit, you need to buy a 1st gen Mini 3 spoke steering wheel.

Akso, for issues regarding the airbag light DO NOT pay the dealer silly amounts of money to solve the problem. Please visit the following thread http://www.mini2.com/forum/first-generation-faults-fixes/130947-airbag-warning-light-petition-bmw-uk.html
