Have used only ethanol free gas.
Trouble shout the problem.
1) Spark are you getting spark at all? did you hit anything and possible you bent the blade. ( It is directly connected and the timing could be off. ) means new camshaft if handy kinda bad if not = bad replace the motor.
NO Spark at and all is good check the wiring to the auto shut off if shorted you won't get a spark.
2) If you then check fuel?
a) correct type and freshness (not last seasons fuel) look for a cloudiness in the tank (water). remove on both cases and remember to clean and drain float, the Same thing when you remove Float Bowl look for (snotty) looking stuff. (water) clean with carb cleaner anyway.
All this good...
3) If you have spark and Fuel but not starting check for dirty (fuel line/filter) and replace filter/clean carb with Carb Cleaner.
All good should work first pull.

I had the same problem on a P3416 saw. I had a new Champion plug and coil installed. I tested the plug by removing it and plugging it in the coil wire and ground the end of the plug on the engine block. It did not spark so I bought another plug. This one fired but it was real weak so I loosen the coil and slipped a piece of light folder paper between the coil and magnets and tighten the bolts. Got a better spark and got it to run.

Most starting problems with chainsaws are caused by flooding. Read and follow the start up procedure in your manual. Probably similar to this:

All new saws regardless of maker are set to run extremely lean to meet EPA mandated air quality standards. They are also fitted with a device to restrict richening the carburetor beyond initial factory settings this too required by the EPA. Most big box stores put them on the shelf and sell them to the consumer with no thought of how elevation may impact saw performance or longevity. Homeowners usually aren't concerned about changes in the saws performance until it quits operating. This combination results in many destroyed saws and homeowner saws of most brands being called trash!
I don't know what the elevation where you are located is but I'll wager it is different than where the saw was set up. If my saw I'd visit a good (Stihl in my case) saw shop, and pay a couple of $ to have the carb adjusted (fresh fuel mix (1.5 months or less) 40:1 (3.2oz/1gal Husqvarna or Stihl 2 cycle oil) oil/fuel ratio, and the clean air filter). Any money spent is worth less than the aggravation when the saw won't start and you might spark a mutually beneficial relationship with a local merchant. HTH

Start at 1.5 CCW form lightly seated then tune for performance like this:

CW is leaner; to lean will destroy the saw. If over tightened closed (CW) the adjustment screw faces are easily marred; marred adjustments are difficult to impossible to set properly.
Clean the air filter; adjusting with a dirty filter can cause a run lean condition once cleaned and the saw run.
There are 2 wav (sound - idle & full – may not be highlighted) files that I find most helpful, I think you will too.
I think your starting procedure may be the cause of flooding. Flooded is the #1 cause of hard starts in 2-cycle engines. Read carefully the recommended start in your manual. most miss the second note. It should be similar to this (read 3, read it again):
Warm start in the manual says 1/2 choke BS. Close choke, (sets fast idle) open choke, pull rope.
