Hi nd welcome to FixYa,

On a Honda CB550K, wiring would be:

  • blue - from ignition coil to contact breaker;
  • yellow - from ignition coil to contact breaker;
  • black/white - to the ignition coils from the emergency switch (engine off);
  • red - from the center fuse of the fuse bank to the ignition switch;
  • black - ignition +12 from ignition switch;
  • black/red - I don't recall a black/red wire on the harness.
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

Hi I have a Suzuki DT 16 engine 1602 no 207668 I have no spark at the plugs I have put a volt test on the green going into the CDI unit about 3 to 4 volts when pulled what should it be Thanks Mike

With or without remote control??
Disconnect the black/red wire from the CDI, if you have sparks, kill circuit shorted.
No spark: check coils
1 . The two pulser coils are located at 1 80°angles to each other and the
condenser and battery charge coils are also located opposite of each other
under the flywheel.
2. Remove the engine cover.
3. On models equipped with electric starters, disconnect the negative
battery cable.
4. Disconnect the connector and black ground wire.
5. On the No. 1 pulser coil, connect the digital multi meter between the
black/red wire terminal in the connector and the black ground wire. And the
No.2 coil between the white/green wire terminal in the connector and the
black ground wire. Resistance should be 260-380 ohms.
6. On the condenser charge coil, measure the resistance between the
black/red and green wires. Resistance should be between 1 70-250 ohms.
7. If the resistance reading is not within specification, replace the faulty
coil.
8. On the battery charge coil, measure the resistance between the
yellow/red and yellow wires, red and yellow wires (DT1 5MC) or the red and
yellow wires (DT15CE). Resistance should measure between 0.2 and 0.5
ohms.
9. If the resistance reading is not within specification, replace the faulty
coil.

Maytag cook top Model # CSE 9000 ADB. A red, black, blue, yellow, white, and bare copper wire come out of the unit. How do I hook it up???

each colored wire is for a seperate burner, the white wire connects to the white neutral wire the bare wire connects to the ground the red and yellow wires connect to the red wire (L1) and the black and blue wires connect to the black wire (L2). i have the same model and i connected mine this way and it's working fine. mine is also connected in a box that has a seperate fuze for each burner so you can follow the red (L1) wires to the 2 fuzes and connect your red and yellow wires to these fuzes and the follow the black (L2) wire to it's 2 fuzes and connect your black and blue wires to these fuzes. i don't know if this box is necessary or ir you can just connect directly to the wiresin a regular box and rely on the breaker but it was already there from the old cooktop i replaced so i used it. hope this helps you

Hoo.cwiring diagram for 93 honda cbr900rr for the rectifier

THIS DEPENDS ON WHETHER YOUR RECTIFIER HAS 5/ OR 7 WIRES, SIMPLE ENOUGH THOUGH , YOU WILL SEE THREE YELLOW WIRES THESE WILL COME FROM THE AC SIDE OF THE GENERATOR ON THE ENGINE TO THE RECTIFIER, IT IS HERE THE AC, ALTERNATING CURRENT IS CHANGED TO DIRECT CURRENT DC IS USED FOR STARTING THE BIKE, AND PROVIDING POWER FOR LIGHTS ETC, YOU WILL THEN FIND 1 OR 2 GREENS, GREEN IS THE BIKES EARTH ON OLDER HONDAS, SO PUT THESE WIRES TO A GOOD EARTHING POINT ON THE BIKE OR WIRE INTO THE LOOM , YOU WILL TEN FIND 1 OR 2 REDS, AS RED IS THE DC OUTPUT FROM THE RECTIFIER YOU WILL NEED TO CONNECT THIS TO THE POSOTIVE+SIDE OF THE BATTERY
