Question about 1999 Honda GL 1500 Aspencade Gold Wing
The bike is a 99 gl1500 goldwing se. has 32K miles when i bought it. it has done this ever since. when i approach a speed zone and roll off the throttle, i feel a light bumping in right engine guard mounted forward peg. I do not feel it in the valve covers, or lower pegs. think it is driveline lash. I have checked the following: rear splines, u-joint, engine mount bolts, frame bolts, forward peg mount bolts, rubber in rear wheel hub is intact, but dont know if it has hardened. using kuryakin pegs.
the bike is used, so i dont know if it always did this.
If i didnt have a forward peg, i wouldnt even notice this,
is this possibly normal or what might it be?
