Hi, Jonathan for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Kawasaki, despair not, for a mere $0 you can download another one. That's why sensible people put exhaust pipe shields over their pipes. Buy some soon or burn yourself!

Where can i find the serial number on my kawasaki ninja 250?

Frame number(VIN) is stamped on the yoke behind the headlight. You have to turn the handle bar fully in order to see it on the frame. The engine number is stamped on top of the lower half of the engine behind the cylinders (basically on top of the gearbox)

I have a 2007 250 ninja and I am changing the oil for the first time. I am trying to locate the drain plug for the oil and the oil filter location?

The oil filter is under the engine towards the front, black canister ,and the drain plug is at the very bottom of the engine in the middle probably 12 or 13mm spanner, when removing dont loose the copper or alloy seal washer, allways warm the engine first,to help drainage of oil ,and replace with quality 15/40w motorcycle engine oil, semi synthetic never use car oil.

My speedometer cable broke, how can i fix it myself?i have a 2002 250 ninja

Unscrew the connector at the front wheel. If you can reach the connector under the speedometer unscrew it. If you can not reach it you will have to take the parts in your way off. I would suggest a careful examination using a mirror to see if it can be done with very few items removed. A dentists mirror is ideal for this. Otherwise take pictures as you go to aid re-assembly. You may get away with merely removing the upper fairing. Good Luck.

How do i remove my ninja's front signals?

You have to partially remove the front fairing. Unbolt from the fuel tank and remove the uppermost guards and try to reach inside to access.

Would the fairing parts of a 2006 kawasaki ninja 250 fit a 2005 kawasaki ninja 250?

Yes I do believe they do. Try going to Powersportseast.com Look in the shopping section on the left of the homepage. You will want to use the parts fische and load the info for your bike. It allows you to see what the dealer parts counter can see. See if this helps. I'm pretty sure the 250 ninja really didn't change until 2008 when it got the BIG overhaul

1992 ZXR 250 Ninja locked ignition & brakelight stuck on

Try jiggling the handle bars as you turn the key to relieve the pressure off the ignition lock. The kawasaki's have one position past the off "Lock" position that is called the "Acc" this will leave your brake light on. So the key switch goes "Acc", "Lock", "On". Make sure your key is in the Lock position and not the Accesory position
