Piston at tdc and inlet cam lobe must face the back and exhaust cam face the front you should see marks on the cam sprocket that line up with the surface of the head.

I took off the head and now its out oftime ineed to know how to set it back please

On most bikes there's a punch mark or similar on the cam gear which should usually face upwards and some kind of timing mark on the flywheel visible through an inspection cover. When the mark on the flywheel is lined up with the pointer and the punch mark on the cam gear facing up, you're in time. Make sure the cam chain is taught on the front side when you do this else you'll be out of time again.

2001 raptor 660 won't idle, only runs with choke on, an won't take throttle???

need your carb rebuilt or your carb readjusted. sounds like you might have some mud in it. do you take it in the mud? if so check the top where the throttle cable comes through.

if it idles fine but when you give it gas you say you have no power? then you have a problem with your intake and exhaust valves.they need to be set.I have a 2003 660 raptor and it was doing the same thing and that fixed it.
