This site doesn't have a parts department, we only answer questions as to what is probably wrong with a bike and what may need to be done to fix it. Try the sits below.

Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part and/or the notation "Not Available" is in the description, the part is not in stock. I believe '88 and '89 used the same alternator. 'www.babbittsonline.com/pages/parts/viewbybrandand/parts.aspx

Also, Google " motorcycle salvage honda ". You may fine an alternator there.

Where is the rectifier located on my cbr 1000f?

It is located on the right side under the seat right about where it says "CBR" on the seat fairing, you will have to remove the two bolts that hold the passenger handrail on and slide the fairing backwards.

Can you tell me where the fuel filter is located on my 1991 cbr 1000 honda thank you

The fuel filter on a 1991 CBR 1000F is mounted to the petcock assembly (the part that the fuel lines are connected to). If you removes the petcock assembly it is the piece sticking up like a tower but is part of the petcock assembly. You can however use a very fine children's toothbrush and carb cleaner to clear it out a bit.

Please I ned to purchase a cluth for CBR-1000F

Here's a web site that deals in original equipment Honda parts:
http://www.powersedge.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/default.aspx

Once you are there, select the year and model of Honda that you need parts for from the drop down boxes. What I like the most about this place is that their site shows you the same exploded-view parts diagrams, with part numbers, that Honda dealers across the country use.

I have a CBR 1000F 1993 it charges fine when

I had the same thing happen to my CBR1100XX..

Could be both the stator/alternator or the regulator/rectifier. I'd try replacing the cheapest unit (regulator/rectifier) first. Check if the insulation on the wires going to the regulator/rectifier look burned.

FYI most Hondas are prone to charging problems.
