Is my crosman shockwave .22 caliber [csnp2sx] a nitro piston 1 or nitro piston 2

The NP2 guns are sold with that as a major selling point. If it's not spelled out in big, colorful letters, it's not a 2. The np2 you see is just the model number. Nice rifle, too.

2004 New Holland Tractor won't start. has power but won't turn over

If it has been setting up for awhile, sometimes the pistons on a diesel seize internally and have to be broken loose manually. Take a break over socket wrench to one of the bolt heads on the front pulley and pry the engine over a few times to where the starter can aid in starting the engine.

The nailer just makes a plopping sound when I pull the trigger. and nothing happens?

This usually indicates a stuck driver or stuck (or worn orings in) headvalve. Pull off head and take a look at the driver. Make sure that it moves in cylinder and does not just drop down tube (bad piston oring). If piston/driver ok remove headvalve and look for fine scratches where orings contact head. If scratched sand with 400 grit paper till smooth and lube with silicone paste (sold at lowes in the plumbing department). Parts are at www.toolpartsdirect.com

I was riding along on my vfr 400 nc24 when i heard a bad clunk and started belching blue smoke, lots of smoke the bike has competly died now have i blown the engine?

Chances are there is a hole in a piston or a piston ring is broken. A timing chain could have broken or jumped so that a piston hit an open valve. Either way, it is time to visit your dealer.

Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?

PORTER CABLE FR350 FRAMING NAILER RAPID FIRES

I have seen this problem on several brands of nailers. The solution in most cases was to make sure headvalve orings are sealing correctly. Here is a simple test. Remove the head and place on workbench with gasket surface facing up. Push headvalve all the way in with your thumbs then cover the vent hole with finger and release thumb pressure to headvalve. Vacuum should keep headvalve down untill you release finger at vent-hole. If vacuum does not hold, remove headvalve and examine surfaces for fine scratches and/ or make sure of correct size orings (headvalve should be very snug). Remove scratches with extra fine paper (300-400 grit). If headvalve holds, remove headvalve piston and piston stop. With headvalve spring removed, push piston stop into headvalve and make sure that the piston stop fits snuggly into piston. Also make sure piston stop is not damaged or cracked. A loose fitting piston stop will cause multi-fire. Replace as necessary. Upon re-assembly, lube all rubber parts with plenty of silicone lube (not oil, wipe clean all parts before lubing). Silicone paste/grease is sold at Lowes in the plumbing department (Danco Brand). Good luck and email if you have other questions about this gun.

Kawasaki zx 400 have two seized pistons on rear caliper, are these pistons removeable, what is then inside!! freddie

yes the pistons are removable, there is only a seal in the lip and nothing else inside just brake fluid. if the pistons wont come out it would be better to get a good second hand one from a good m/cycle breaker.if you pump the brake and the pistons dont move i would replace it. hope this helps

Dome or Dish Pistons for Mazda FE3N 2L

The dome pistons will provide higher compression than the dished. the domed ones should have an eyebrow cut out for the valves. I believe you would be happiest going with the domes. you might run into spark knock with the increased compression
