Question about 2004 Husqvarna TE 450

Hi i have a 04 tc450 i just replaced the rads and water pump impeller a top coolant but the thing still over heats HELP

Follow the radiator top hose to where it connects to the engine. There should be a thermostat there. I would guess it is stuck closed.

make sure the cooling fan is working properly behind the rad as if its not the motor will run hotter than it should.the no heat indicates you may have a plugged heater core,you don`t say if the heat was good before the motor replacement.if it was then you still have air in the cooling system that needs to be purged.its also possible the head gasket may have a problem so you should have a combustion chamber test done on the cooling system.there have been problems with the water pump impellers not pumping coolant properly,like the impeller slipping on the pump shaft or the impeller blades worn/damaged not pumping coolant properly.

We have replaced the transmission, bypassed the heater but the aztec is still over heating and running into the over flow what else could we check

i assume by transmission you mean thermostat.the other things that can cause over heating is the cooling fan for the rad may not be working(you don`t say),the coolant flow through the rad may be poor,the water pump impeller may be worn to the point that it can`t circulate coolant properly or you have a head gasket problem which you can get a block test done on the car to eliminate it.

Car over heats when warm and pushes water and coolant into over flow tank already changed thermostat

well if you have already changed thermostat there is a few other things that can cause this they are listed below
1. faulty rad cap
2. coroded water pump impeller / replace pump
3. rad fan not coming on / possible faulty coolant temp sensor will cause this

Coolant doesn't circulate in raditor. Also coolant blows back through raditor.

the coolant is probably not circulating because either the water pump impellers are worn or broken off of the shaft,the rad maybe plugged or possibly the thermostat has seized closed causing a restriction in the system.the coolant blows back because its not circulating and over heating and will escape were it can.

You either need a new thermostat or the water pump impeller is worn out,this is if the rad fan is working,if the rad fan is not working then you likely need a coolant sensor or a rad fan relay.the water pump impeller is not a serviceable part ,so of it is worn you will need to replace the pump.

My mini 04 keeps over heating. Changed the cap from the water coolant and it still keeps doing it. Any ideas?

those cars have plastic water pump impellers that like to vrack and come loose from the shaft.if all else checkes out replace water pump

Have a 2001 dakota sport 6 cyl. and have coolant dripping from bottom of water pump.found loose bolt on bottom and tightened it.drove around at first no leak,then heater blowin cold air,then shut off...

Gasket probably will not seal now, and if your going to have to remove water pump to replace it, you might as well put a new pump on as well. The reason for heater cutting in and out, is probably just due to low coolant, and air got into system. When cool, remove rad cap,start engine, and turn heater on while letting it get up to operating temperature, and top up rad as needed, until you see increased flow in rad indicating thermostat has opened and coolant is circulating. Watch for that a couple of times, then put rad cap back on, and top up return bottle to proper level as well. That should get your heat back.

Car over heats then cools no heating in car

Hello there:
This problem normally is caused by a couple of things that you can check
First start the vehical and open the radiator cap and look to see if you can see the water inside the radiator moving around if not you might have a clogged radiator or the water pump is bad
now when the car is getting hot try to hold and squeese the top radiator hose to see if it is hard and you cant squeeze it than this will tell you that the thermostat is not opening up and letting the water thru to cool the engine or that it is only letting some of the water thru in any case i would replace the thermostat first and then follow the other troubleshooting steps that i have provided ok and you should be ok after making the needed repairs.

I have a2001 volkswagon beetle.It overheats I already replaced thurmostat it still overheats and now the heater doesnt throw any heat,

mite still be air in system! try bleed screw on top off rad! if that does not work i say ur water pump is fucked

Car running hot

The first thing that I would check would be the level of the coolant. This is VERY important. Other things to look into would be a clogged radiator or a malfunctioning water pump. It would more than likely be one of the first two.
