John the red flashing symbol is your mil lamp that is indicating a misfire condition and is an active code that reqires maintinence have a local parts place scan your obd2 port an run a scan on trouble codes most likely p0300 random misfire most probable cause is burnt out plugs or coil pack bad reccomend plugs an wires should fix that problem unless you have a stretched timing belt causeing misfires have it checked at a repar shop ask for codes an google it an it will tell you what the code means if the repar shop wint tell you. Be prepared for s tuneup
That means that some connectors inside got disconnected! I recommend you take the camera to a service because the reparation itself is cheap(under 20$) and you get an extend of the warranty if you chose the brand's service(they are available in the manual/warranty)!
