It is an output shaft seal. Shouldn't be too hard to do depending on your skill level. You will need to have something to pull the seal out, and make sure you put the seal in squarely.

Oil leak on kawasaki 250 stockman cant seam to find it

Hi, Bob due to the magnitude of yesterday's solar flare my night and x-ray vision optical devices have become inoperable so you will have to be my eyes, to find the source of your oil leak, start at the point where you see oil and trace its path going up and forward, if there is too much oil present then buy a spray can of engine degreaser apply it to the affected area then rinse off with a pressure wand or garden hose, use compressed air to blow off excess water or just let it drip dry, take your bike for a 5 mile ride and check for the leaks. I have a crf 450 and after riding in mud i now have an oil leak behind drive sproket.. is this easy to fix??

It should be staright forward. First of all you have to find out why it is leaking but I suspect you have got grit or some mud in the drive oil seal and replacement should sort it out.
Have fun!
