I assume you are asking about the pilot jet? If so, you simply unscrew it with a flat blade screwdriver

How do you clean the jets on a 1994 fxdwg

you must remove the carb and block off the fuel line then remove the bottom bowl screws, separate the bowl from the carb gently and you will see the float(s) hanging. the very center post of the carb body will have the main jet installed ..it should have a flat slot so you can remove it with a screw driver, the idle jet will be a small screw on the side of the carb body and count how many turns out it takes to remove, use a carb cleaner spray into all the jet ports to clean, clean the bowl and reassemble, take care with any gaskets as not to tear them or have them slide out of place.most low speed jets are turned inward gently til it seats then turn back out 1 and a half turns.

How do i replace 92 super glide speedometer ? cant get the odometer reset arm out, to get the unit out of the consol

There is a small screw in the center of the knob. If the screw head is worn or damaged, then the only option is to break the knob to remove to speedo. This is easily done with a pliers.

I have a 1993 fxr super glide. Can I replace head gaskets without removing engine from frame?

you should be able to replace the head gaskets on your evo without removing the whole engine. If you have never done engine work like this before, I would advise purchasing a service manual from harley that will walk you through step by step. I did the same on my 92 softail, which also doesn't give a lot of room the remove the rear top rocket box. Hope this helps.

My 1994 dyna wont stay on, i have to keep giving it gas or it will start to cough and just shuts down.

Sounds like the bike has sat up for a while or has gotten trash in the carb and stopped up the jets. Could be water in the fuel as well. By milking the throttle, you're keeping the bike running with the accellerator pump.

The carb must be removed and completely disassembled. This is not a job that I would recommend an amateur attempt. There are some small parts that can be difficult to install or lend themselves to being installed improperly. I'd take that to an experienced mechanic. Good Luck, Steve

My carburator is spitting and missing especially at a higher speed. It's an 83 fxr-t with the stock carburator. I've taken the gas tank off and cleaned it out, cleaned out the carburator and fuel lines...

When you remove the main jet, push out the 'emulsion' tube just above it. The main jet holds it in. The upper part of it just barely sticks up into the venturi part of the carburetor bore. It mixes air with the fuel passed by the main jet and can get plugged--especially the small holes bored into the sides. Many people miss removing this part when doing a cleaning. Make sure that you blow out all holes and jets with compressed air before putting it together. Hope this helps.
